On May 25, 2022 the Wolves Club held their annual scholarship dinner at the Connequennessing Country Club. Wolves Club Den II members, gathered to celebrate the awarding of $15,935 in scholarships to a total of 6 Lincoln and Riverside high school seniors and 2 current college students to help fund their higher education. Ellwood City Wolves Club Recognizes Boys Basketball Team

The Ellwood City Wolves Club 11 recognized the Ellwood City Wolverines Boys Basketball Team at their meeting on Wednesday May 11th. The team received recognition for being the first team in the history of the school for being the 2020-2021 WPIAL Champions and the 2021-2022 Section 3A Champions. The team also had two players scoring over 1,000 points in their high school careers. Wolves Club Meets, Recognizes Efforts In Sign Replacement

The Ellwood City Wolves Club met on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 and recognized the efforts of the Ellwood City Borough, Ellwood City Lions, Ellwood City Rotary and the Ellwood City Wolves Club Den II in replacing the old “Welcome to Ellwood City” sign located at the intersection of RT 288 and Route 65. The clubs raised funds to replace the sign. They had been working on the project for three years and raised $18,200 to make it possible. The Ellwood City Wolves Club Den II hosted Dan Bradley, Ellwood City Wolverines Football Team coach, at their Wednesday March 9, 2022 meeting. Meals On Wheels Receives Donation From Ellwood City Wolves Club

On Wednesday, February 23, the Ellwood City Wolves Club presented a donation to the Ellwood City Meals on Wheels Program Director Terri Crespo. Terri presented the history of the program which started in at the Calvin United Presbyterian Church. It moved to the Ellwood City Hospital. When the Ellwood City Hospital closed the Calvin United Presbyterian Church again agreed to host the program. The program serves 80 people in the greater Ellwood City area. The Ellwood City Wolves Club Den II recognized a local man for his volunteer work in our community for the past 50 years. Holy Redeemer Golf Bash Cancelled

According to a Facebook post made by the Ellwood City Wolves and Holy Redeemer, the Golf Bash that was originally scheduled to take place on January 16th has now been cancelled. After receiving a letter from Bishop David Zubick on the amount of rising COVID-19 cases in the area, the decision was made to cancel this in person event. Chris Cioffi presented for the EC Wolves Club to Jackie Dimeo, President of the Holy Redeemer Christian Mother’s. A Presentation of $500.00 from funds raised during a recent Golf Bash fundraiser was made during the Wolves Club MTG on June 23rd in Ewing Park.
