The Ellwood City Wolves Club Den II held their monthly meeting on Wednesday, March 8th at the Connequenessing Country Club. The meeting was conducted by President Mike DeOtto. The Wolves Club sponsored Annual Golf Bash held on Sunday, February 19, 2023 was successful. The event raised over $15,000 for the Wolves Club Scholarship Program. Thanks and appreciation was given to the Holy Redeemer Christian Mothers for assisting at the event. Thanks and appreciation also went to the members who worked the event at the Sons Of Italy. The Ellwood City Wolves Den II met at the Connequenessing Country Club on Wednesday February 8, 2023. The members welcomed new member Rich Griffith. The members voted to keep the current Board of Directors, consisting of nine members, for another three years. The club conducts three fundraisers that support their scholarship fund during the year. Ellwood City Wolves Club Hosts First Meeting Of New Year

The Ellwood City Wolves Club Den 11 met on Wednesday at the Connequenessing Country Club. The Club finalized their plans for their next fundraiser: The Golf Bash on Sunday, February 19, 2023. This annual event is held at the Ellwood City Sons of Italy Hall on Lawrence Ave. The event runs from 1:00 -5:00 PM with volunteers needed to help on the floor and in the kitchen. Wolves Club Honors The Carpenters Project

The Ellwood City Wolves Club Den 11 met on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at the Connequenessing Country Club and honored The Carpenter’s Project with their Pro Bono Publico Award. “Pro Bono Publico” is the Wolves Club motto which means for the Good of The Public. The Carpenters Project has been doing projects (painting, repairs, brush cleaning, power washing and installing handicap ramps) for area citizens since 2001. The projects are completed by volunteers from area churches and school students during one week in the summer, usually in July. The Ellwood City Wolves Club Den II met on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at the Connequenessing Country Club. The Wolves Club, in conjunction with the Ellwood City Lions and the Rotary Clubs, host the Annual Oktoberfest which was held on Saturday, October 1, 2022. The Oktoberfest raised funds for all three organizations. These funds help with providing scholarships and support to local community projects. Dancing In The Rain: 2022 Ellwood City Oktoberfest Held Amid Rain Skies

Rain and torrential downpours on Saturday afternoon did not damper the mood in Ewing Park as nearly 700 people braved the elements to enjoy the Ellwood City Oktoberfest. The 12th annual event squeaked out a few reasonably accommodating hours between the waves of rain that entered the Saturday afternoon forecast. The Ellwood City Wolves Club Den II met on Wednesday August 10, 2022, and recognized student athletes from Lincoln and Riverside Schools for their accomplishments these past school years. Ellwood City Wolves Club Recognizes Boys Basketball Team

The Ellwood City Wolves Club 11 recognized the Ellwood City Wolverines Boys Basketball Team at their meeting on Wednesday May 11th. The team received recognition for being the first team in the history of the school for being the 2020-2021 WPIAL Champions and the 2021-2022 Section 3A Champions. The team also had two players scoring over 1,000 points in their high school careers.
