Meals On Wheels Receives Donation From Ellwood City Wolves Club

On Wednesday, February 23, the Ellwood City Wolves Club presented a donation to the Ellwood City Meals on Wheels Program Director Terri Crespo. Terri presented the history of the program which started in at the Calvin United Presbyterian Church. It moved to the Ellwood City Hospital. When the Ellwood City Hospital closed the Calvin United Presbyterian Church again agreed to host the program. The program serves 80 people in the greater Ellwood City area. Mike DeOtto, President of the Ellwood City Wolves Club Den 2, announced this week that the Club will be giving an outstanding community service award to a local individual, student, or group who resides in the Ellwood City Area School District or the Riverside Beaver County School District. Holy Redeemer Golf Bash Cancelled

According to a Facebook post made by the Ellwood City Wolves and Holy Redeemer, the Golf Bash that was originally scheduled to take place on January 16th has now been cancelled. After receiving a letter from Bishop David Zubick on the amount of rising COVID-19 cases in the area, the decision was made to cancel this in person event. The Ellwood City Italian American Heritage Foundation, at the February Wolves Club meeting, honored the organization with an appreciation plaque in recognition for all they have done and continue to do for our community. Wolves Club Den 11 Holds Annual Memorial Tribute

The spirit of Wolves Club Den II founders was honored at a Holy Redeemer Parish Sunday Mass followed by breakfast at Carusone’s in Ellwood City, PA.  The tribute took place on November 1, 2020. Wolves Club Announce Scholarship Deadline Extended

The Ellwood City Wolves Club is once again offering scholarships to graduating high school seniors residing in the Ellwood City Area School District and Riverside Beaver County School District who plan to attend a four-year college, community college, trade or technical school following graduation. The deadline to return applications has been extended due to the recent school closures. 10th Annual 2019 Ellwood City Oktoberfest Recap

The 10th Annual 2019 Ellwood City Oktoberfest was held in beautiful Ewing Park on Saturday, October 5th. The event is a group effort of several organizations in Ellwood City to benefit the community and its members. At the event were over 100 craft beers and over a dozen homebrewers to sample, great food, live music by Wine and Spirits, a huge silent auction, games, prizes and a bake sale benefiting the Ellwood City Library. Mayor Court Presents Commendation to Celli

Mayor Anthony Court was honored to present a Commendation to councilman George Celli this week. Celli has served as president of the National Wolves Club from 2016 – 2019.
