The Ellwood City Wolves Club Den 11 met on Wednesday at the Connequenessing Country Club.
The Club finalized their plans for their next fundraiser: The Golf Bash on Sunday, February 19, 2023.
This annual event is held at the Ellwood City Sons of Italy Hall on Lawrence Ave. The event runs from 1:00 -5:00 PM with volunteers needed to help on the floor and in the kitchen. The event raises funds for the Wolves Club Scholarship Fund as well as the Divine Grace Christian Mothers. Tickets for the event are going fast and the cost is $30.00. Tickets are available at the Ellwood City Candy Company.
The Club is celebrating their 75th Anniversary and a dinner is scheduled for April 12, 2023 at the Connequenessing Country Club. Members of their Anniversary Committee extended their deadline for the advertising for their Anniversary Book until March 17, 2023. Members were reminded to assist in getting local businesses to advertise in the Anniversary Book.
The Club welcomed new member Doug Carr.
Members were reminded that there is only one meeting in February.
The Club’s motto is Pro Bono Publico which means for the good of the public.
