Holy Redeemer Golf Bash Cancelled

According to a Facebook post made by the Ellwood City Wolves and Holy Redeemer, the Golf Bash that was originally scheduled to take place on January 16th has now been cancelled.

After receiving a letter from Bishop David Zubick on the amount of rising COVID-19 cases in the area, the decision was made to cancel this in person event.

The full statement reads, “We regret to inform you that the January 16 Cash and Golf Bash benefitting the Ellwood City Wolves Club and Holy Redeemer Church will not be held as an in-person event due to the rising number of Covid cases in this region. The decision to suspend the in-person event was made after a letter was distributed by Bishop Zubick recommending the cancellation of all events. All prizes will be given out starting February 1 based on the Pennsylvania Lottery evening 3-digit drawing. One prize will be awarded each night. We are sorry for the change but we hope this event will take place next year.”
