Born February 16, 1925 in Zelienople, she was the daughter of the late William and Elizabeth Domhoff Ebert. She was married to Robert G. Wallis for 61 years when he passed on July 7, 2008. Doris had graduated from Zelienople High School in 1943. She was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church. Carmen N. Bucci, 79, of Wampum passed away Friday, May 13, 2022 at UPMC Passavant Cranberry. Born February 19, 1943 in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late Nicholas and Mary Cannami Bucci. He was married to Kathleen J. Smith Bucci on May 23, 1970. She passed away on March 12, 2022. Carmen had graduated from Lincoln High School and was a Veteran of the United States Army. Nellie Bessell Strickler, 87, of Shenango Township, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2022 at Haven Nursing Home in New Castle. Born December 13, 1934 in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late Harrison and Della Martin Bessell. She was married to Richard C. Strickler for 56 years when he passed away on November 27, 2007. She attended Savannah United Methodist Church her whole life where she was a member of the over 55 Group. Frederick Konyak, 84, of North Sewickley Township passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at his residence. Born January 8, 1938 in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late Andrew and Helen Burcik Konyak. He was married to Patricia Steckman Konyak. Fred graduated from Lincoln High School in 1955. For many years, Fred was employed at the B&W in Koppel where he worked in the Melt Shop. Jean J. Kingston, 85, of Shenango Twp. passed away Monday, May 9, 2022 at UPMC – Jameson Hospital following a lingering illness. Born December 17, 1936 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late John P and Nellie (Henry) Hobrat . She was married to Mervin Kingston who passed away in 2000. John Howard Dahl (Jack), 71, of Denver, North Carolina, passed away on Sunday May 1st. He passed away in his sleep at home, after a year long battle with lung cancer. Jack served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War and later went on to serve the community as a police officer in Ellwood City. In retirement, Jack began a custom millwork business which focused on serving the customers of 84 Lumber in Charlotte NC. His shop was his pride and joy and where he spent his time.
