John A. Kennedy, 65, of North Beaver Twp. passed away Friday, May 29, 2026 at his residence following an apparent heart attack.
Born April 13, 1961, in Tonawanda, NY, he was the son of the late Alyce Innes Gibson and Wayne and Edna Innes Kennedy.
John graduated from Mohawk High School in 1979. He proudly served in the Army until he was honorably discharged. After his military service, he started his career as a truck driver, primarily with JJ Kennedy and McClymonds Trucking, where he worked until his retirement.
An avid outdoorsman, he loved spending time in the woods cutting firewood and riding his quads. He took great pride in maintaining his property and also enjoyed spending time at Davis Lake. Most of all, he cherished moments with his family, especially teasing his grandchildren.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 40 years, Connie Harlan Kennedy; three daughters, Kellie (Bob) Anderson of Neshannock Twp., Melissa (Tim) Bojanac of Enon Valley, and Ashley (Hunter Tyre) Kennedy of Rehoboth Beach, DE; granddaughter, Sienna Anderson; two grandsons, Carter and Gavin Bojanac, and five sisters.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother.
Friends and family will be received on Tuesday June 2, 2026 from 3 until the Funeral Service at 6 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home, 341 Main Street Wampum. Retired Pastor Dave Keppen will officiate.
