Robert Lee “Boo” Johnson, 54, of Aliquippa passed away Saturday, December 31, 2022 at his residence. Born March 7, 1968 in New Brighton, he was the son of Robert Tanchuk and Diane Kidd. Robert was a self-employed mechanic who loved to work on cars. He had a passion for attending and participating in Demolition Derby’s. He also enjoyed camping in Erie and riding quads. Alexander “Alex” Mulig, 26, of Ellwood City passed away Sunday, January 1, 2023 peacefully at his residence surrounded by his loving family, following a two and a half-year courageous battle with cancer. Born March 10, 1996 in Ellwood City, he was the son of Robert Mulig and Debbie Novakovich. Alex attended Riverside High School and then worked as a concrete finisher for Omni-Stone on Route 18 in Wampum. Some of his interests were traveling, hunting, and listening to music. Peter J. “Whitey” Maietta, 70 of Ellwood City passed away at Allegheny General Hospital on Thursday, December 29, 2022. Born in Ellwood City on August 11, 1952, Whitey was the son of the late Peter J. and Lucy M. She was born on May 12th, 1947 in Ellwood City, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Jerome and Elnora “Peggy” (Woods) Jinar. Docia was a passionate teacher, graduating from Lincoln High School before earning her degree in special education from Slippery Rock University.
