Little Miss Firecracker Pageant Returns For the 2023 Ellwood City Festival

The Ellwood City Festival Committee is excited to announce that this well-loved and anticipated patriotic pageant is set to kick off the 2023 Ellwood City Arts, Crafts, Food & Entertainment Festival. The pageant beginning at 11:15 am on Friday, June 30th. The Ellwood City Borough Department of Public Works would like to invite all children between the ages of 4-12 to participate in a Community Garden Poster Contest! Four Riverside Swimmers Set To Compete At PIAA State Swimming Championships

Senior Sam Kline leads a host of four Riverside swimmers who have qualified and will participate in the PIAA Class 2A State Swimming Championships this week at the Kinney Natatorium at Bucknell University, Lewisburg, PA The Riverside swim team also sends two relay teams to the Class 2A championships scheduled to take place March 15th and 16th. Kline used a 49.40 time in the WPIAL Championships, good for 8th place, to earn his spot in the 100m Freestyle at the PIAA Championships meet. Beaver County Conservation District Hosting Its 2023 Tire Collection Event

Looking to do a little spring cleaning around your property and have some tires you need to get rid of? The Beaver County Conservation District’s Mosquito Vector Disease Program is hosting a one-day tire collection at the district office and environmental center on Saturday, April 15, 2023. The collection is open to Beaver County residents and accepting car and light truck tires up to 20” off rim. POLICE: Weekly Police Blotter

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: On February 26th at approximately 1:17 a.m., PA State Police investigated a report of criminal mischief near a residence on Heinz Camp Road, Wayne Township. According to the report, a 31-year-old female victim from Ellwood City related that she was contacted by a female friend requesting a ride home due to an ongoing argument with her boyfriend.
