Mayor Court Swears In New Police Officer

This week Mayor Anthony J. Court officially swore in William Daufen as a part-time police officer in the Borough of Ellwood City. “Officer Daufen brings 25 years of experience in law enforcement and is looking forward to working with him – to help protect the law abiding citizens of our community,” said Mayor Court in a statement. MAYOR COURT: Recent Vandalism/Theft Will Not Be Tolerated

Mayor Anthony J. Court is alerting residents of Ellwood City to be on alert for a recent string of vandalism and ‘porch pirate’ thefts of packages in the Ellwood City area. The latest incident of porch piracy was a reported theft of a package dropped off by Amazon at a residence in Ewing Park. “This behavior will not be tolerated and any individual or individuals will be prosecuted to the fullest extend of the law,” says Court. Annual Richard Hogue Blood Drive A Success

The 8th Annual Richard Hogue Blood Drive was held recently in memory of Richard Hogue to give the gift of life to others. “It was a wonderful event, eight years of keeping Richard Hogue’s memory alive,” said Mayor Anthony J. Lawrence County ARISE Kicks Off October Program

Mayor Anthony Court and Borough Council President, George Celli hosted members of Lawrence County ARISE to help kick off October as Domestic Violence Month as part of the “Our Community’s Response to Violence” campaign. Yard signs, bows and purple light bulbs will once again be available at the agency, as well as distributed throughout the community. Arise will be placing bows and yard signs around Lawrence County. New Ellwood City Police Officer Introduced

The Borough of Ellwood City Police Department has introduced a new police officer this week. Robert Bird II was sworn in as part of the ceremony led by Mayor Anthony Court. Mayor Court swore Officer Bird in as the newest member of the Ellwood City Police Department. Also attending was Borough of Ellwood City Council President George Celli, pictured on left, and Officer Bird’s proud mother, Jodi Barton on the right.  


Mayor Court Presents Proclamation To Red Hot Restaurant Owners

Mayor Anthony J.
