Ellwood City Boxing Club Cleans Memorials and Monuments

Mayor Anthony J. Court and Jack Maine organized the Ellwood City Boxing Club to clean the Memorials and Monuments at the Ellwood City Borough Building on September 11, 2024. “This group of individuals who came forth and did an outstanding job of cleaning and honoring the Monuments,” said Mayor Court in an emailed statement. Ellwood City Announces 2024 Trick or Treat Night

Mayor Anthony J. Court and the Borough of Ellwood City has decided to change Trick or Treat night from previous years. Mayor Court Presents Proclamation To Erma Winters On Her 100th Birthday

Mayor Anthony J. Court presented a proclamation to Erma Winters on her 100th birthday on September 2, 2024. Erma was born on  September 2, 1924.  She has four children that are her greatest gifts, Georgana, Steven, Eric and Rosemary. Erma was very artistic learning how to paint porcelain china and etched stem ware with different designs which was sold at high end Department stores. Mayor Court Announces 8th Beautification Winner of 2024

Mayor Anthony J. Court announced the 8th and final winner of 2024 “Beautification Awards”. Congratulations goes to Evan Westlund of 511 Mt. Vernon Drive. “Evan has done an outstanding job on his well-maintained property. Well deserved,” said Mayor Court in a statement. Evan was awarded a dinner certificate from a local restaurant and a sign to display in his yard. Last month the mayor added two bonus awards this year bringing the total winners to eight. 7th Beautification Award Winner of 2024 Announced

Mayor Anthony J. Court announced the 7th winner of his “Beautification Awards”. Congratulations goes to Kathy Bloom of 727 Plymouth Lane. Mayor Court Announces 6th Beautification Winner of 2024

Mayor Anthony J. Court presented the 6th winner of the “Beautification Awards” to Joe and Colleen Konyak. “The hard work that went into this property did not go unnoticed,” said Mayor Court in a statement. The Konyak’s were presented with a dinner certificate and a yard sign to display at 233 Foch Street. There will be two bonus awards this year bringing the “Beautification Awards” winners to eight. 5th Beautification Award Winner Announced

Mayor Anthony J. Court presented the 5th winner of the “Beautification Awards” to Kevin and Delana Shaffer. “Excellent work and lots of dedication went into this property at 904 Plymouth Lane,” said Mayor Court in an emailed statement. Mayor Court presented the Shaffer’s with a dinner certificate and a yard sign. 4th Beautification Award Winner of 2024 Announced

Mayor Anthony J. Court recently awarded the 4th winner of the annual beautification awards to Todd and Lori Streit of 924 Bridge Street. “Beautifully Landscaped and very well maintained,” said Mayor Court in an emailed statement. Todd and Lori was presented with a gift certificate from a local restaurant and a yard sign to display. Mayor Anthony J. Court presented Gina Borselli with the 3rd Beautification Award of 2024. “Congratulations Gina on a job well done,” said Mayor Court in a statement.
