The 6th and final winner of the 2022 Mayor Beautification Awards was awarded to Heidi Schanno of 803 Jefferson Avenue, Ellwood City. Mayor Anthony J. Court presented a surprise proclamation Saturday, July 23rd to Local Ellwood City Country Singer Tony Barge. Congratulations are in order for the Fifth Beautification Winner! Mayor Anthony Court presented Phil and Doris Conklin of 312 Orchard Avenue. “Pastor Conklin and his wife enjoy working in their yard and it surely shows,” says Mayor Court in a statement. Mayor Court’s Beautification Awards Return For 12th Year

Get ready, let’s bring our community back to life! It’s that wonderful time of the year again and Mayor Anthony J. Court is starting his annual “Beautification Award Program.” This year marks the 12th year for the program and each year we are getting more and more nominations and six lucky winners will be chosen. Mayor Court Presents Proclamations To Eagle Scouts

Mayor Anthony J. Court had the honor of presenting proclamations to two (2) Eagle Scouts on Monday, March 28, at their meeting held at The First Methodist Church. The Eagle Scouts were Hayden Slade and Grady Smith. Hayden is an 11th grader at Lincoln High School and a member of the Lincoln High School Blue Band Marching Band, LHS Choir, and LHS musical. As of 2021, he was a 6-year Carson Scholar. His Eagle Project was the “Moraine State Park Bicycle Maintenance Station”. Hayden purchased and installed a bicycle maintenance station on the paved bike trail at Moraine State Park…


Mayor Court Speaks With Ellwood City Girl Scouts

Mayor Anthony J. Court spoke to the Girl Scouts of Ellwood City, PA on December 8, 2021. Mayor Court spoke on the history of Ellwood City and his duties as Mayor of the city. The children followed with a question and answer period to the mayor. At the conclusion of the evening Mayor Court presented all of the girl scouts with water bottles from the Ellwood City Police Department. “It was very enjoyable and a lot of fun for all,” said Mayor Court in a statement.
