Ellwood City Public Library Activities For Week Of September 14th

The Ellwood City Area Public Library offers a variety of weekly activities. Information is available by calling the library at 724-758-6458.

HOURS

Hours are Monday 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., Friday 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and Saturday 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Please remember no one is available to take your calls unless it is in the hours listed above.

BOOK SALE COLLECTION:

We are now taking donations for the book sale in October. We do not take textbooks, readers digest condensed books, magazines, encyclopedias or VHS tapes.

Activities taking place this week include.

MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 14

• 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – “Interactive Play,” children can play hands-on with various items.

TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 15

• 10:30 a.m. –“Music, Movement and More,” a program for children to dance, sing and play instruments.
• 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – “Interactive Play,” children can play hands-on with various items..

WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 16

• 10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. – “Adult Special Needs Hangout,” come as an individual or with a group.
• 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – “Interactive Play,” children can play hands-on with various items.
• 2:45 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. – “Tween and Teen After School Club,” come and hang out, do crafts, play games and have a snack.

THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 17

• 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – “Interactive Play,” children can play hands-on with various items.
• 6:00 p.m. – “History Club: Remembering 9/11 and Flight 93” for all ages! This event will be presented by Mr. Rob Brough for adults while Mrs. B and Ms. Carrie have activities for children in the Children’s Area.

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 18

• 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. – “Coloring for Adults,” bring your own supplies or use ours.
• 12:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. – “Adult Knitting Group,” work on your own individual projects while socializing with other knitters.

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 19:

• 11:00 a.m. – “Fiction Addiction Adult Book Club” will be discussing “The Paradise Problem” by Christina Lauren. This book club is for everyone ages 18 and older. We will meet at National Grind.

SAVE THE DATE:

September 26th the library will be closed. We will have a “Magical Library” from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m.
