Mrs. Virginia M. Purnell, 86, of Ellwood City passed away on Sunday, November 9th, 20215 at her residence. Virginia was born on May 26th, 1939 in Ellwood City to the late Domenico and Maria (Placonica) Garuccio. She went to the Blessed Virgin Mary Parochial School and was a member of Divine Grace Parish, Holy Redeemer Church. Virginia worked at the Ellwood City Hospital in housekeeping for several years. She enjoyed cooking, baking and spending time with family, friends, and neighbors. Mrs. Folino was born on January 24th, 1938 the daughter of the late Nick and Sadie (Noschese) Oliastro in Ellwood City. She had graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1956 and Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in 1959.
