Ellwood City Public Library Activities For Week Of June 1st

The Ellwood City Area Public Library offers a variety of weekly activities. Information is available by calling the library at 724-758-6458.

HOURS

Hours are Monday 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., Friday 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and Saturday 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Please remember no one is available to take your calls unless it is in the hours listed above.

Activities taking place this week include.

MONDAY, JUNE 1

• 11:00 a.m. – “Dementia Care Questions and Answers,” come and sit with someone from LIFE to see how to keep your loved one home. They can get you in touch with the people you need for help that is free or low cost.
• 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – “Interactive Play,” children can play hands-on with various items.

TUESDAY, JUNE 2

• 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – “Interactive Play,” children can play hands-on with various items.

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 3

• 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – “Interactive Play,” children can play hands-on with various items.

THURSDAY, JUNE 4

• 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – “Interactive Play,” children can play hands-on with various items.

FRIDAY, JUNE 5

• 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. – “Coloring for Adults,” bring your own supplies or use ours.
• 12:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. – “Adult Knitting Group,” work on your own individual projects while socializing with other knitters.

Adult/Child paint fundraiser June 16th at 5:00 p.m. We have three sign designs to pick from. If you do not have a child to bring that is fine, adults are welcome. Children will be doing a dinosaur design. You can use the QR Code on our website or get your tickets at the library. Hurry the deadline to sign up is May 31 to give the vendor time to make the signs that are picked. The cost is $25 for adults and $15 for Children.

Carnegie is coming June 16th for a day of dinosaurs. Everything is free! 1-1:30 p.m. is Preschool- 2nd grade. 1:35 – 2:20 is 3rd grade and up. Scan the QR Code on our website or call the library to sign up.
