Activities taking place at the Ellwood City Area Public Library include the following:
Tuesday, December 5, at 6:30 p.m. — “Holiday Story Time” for babies, toddlers and preschoolers. Featured will be stories, songs, finger plays and more. No registration is required, so call the library at 724-758-6458 for more information.
Wednesday, December 6, at 10:00 a.m. — “Coloring for Adults,” a weekly program that is free and open to the public. “Coloring for Adults” is a program designed to help reduce the stresses of everyday life. Everyone is welcome, so call the library for more information.
Wednesday, December 6, at 6:30 p.m. – Evening Book Discussion Group for Adults. The group will discuss the book, “Only Love Will Break Your Heart,” by Ed Tarkington. Call the library for more information.
Thursday, December 7, at 3:00 p.m. – “Hooked on Books,” a book discussion group designed for students in 6th through 8th grades. The group meets monthly for book discussion and pizza. Call the library for more information.
Thursday, December 7, at 6:00 p.m. — Adult Knitting Group whose members meet weekly to work on individual projects. New members are welcome, so call the library for more information.
Saturday, December 9, at 2:00 p.m. — A “Holiday Movie for Families” featuring a full-length holiday movie designed for preschoolers and early elementary-aged children. Refreshments are served. Since this is a family event, all children must be accompanied by an adult. Call the library for more information.
