LeVerne M. Burns formerly of Ross Township, passed away on Tuesday, June 7th 2022 at her residence. LeVerne was born in Pittsburgh to the late Charles and Eleanor (Klein) Peaco. She graduated from the Mt. Alvernia High School with the class of 1945. During her time in Ross Township, LeVerne volunteered as Chairman of the American Cancer Society and was very active in the Women’s Democratic Club. She was a member of St. Teresa of Avila’s Church, in Perrysville, where she also spent a lot of time volunteering. Claudette D. Jenkins, 64, of Ellwood City passed away on Monday, June 6th, 2022 at the UPMC Passavant Hospital. Claudette was born in Orlando, Florida on February 21st, 1958 to the late Fred Jenkins and Dorothy (Crowe) Jenkins of Utah. She had graduated from high school in Bismarck, North Dakota. Recently she had been working for Giant Eagle Corporation in the pharmaceutical department. She is a member of the Ellwood City Eagles Club and the Sons of Italy #608. On Sunday, June 5th, 2022, Joseph “Keith” Jacobs, loving husband and father passed away at age 72. Born May 27th, 1950 in Ellwood City, a son to the late Joseph and late Yetta (Baker) Jacobs. He was a member of the Ellwood City Saxon Club, Ellwood City Hungarian Home, and Ellwood City Sons of Italy. Carol A. Parker, 84, of Ellwood City, passed away at the Avalon Nursing Center in New Castle on Sunday, June 5, 2022. Born in Beaver Falls on July 3, 1937, Carol was the daughter of the late Carl and Mary Buckenhiemer Behringer.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald J. Mr. Raymond Pratt, 85, of Ellwood City passed away on Friday, June 3rd, 2022 at his residence. Mr. Pratt was born on November 18th, 1936 in Ellwood City to the late Joseph and Anna (Canavin) Pratt. He is a member of the Lincoln High School class of 1954 and the Holy Redeemer Parish. After high school, Ray enlisted with the U.S. Air Force on July 12th, 1954 and served until his discharge on January 11th, 1958. Born in Ellwood City on May 22, 1954, Sherri was the daughter of the late Charles and Augusta Mohr Hogue.  Sherri is survived by her husband, Charles A.
