Carol A. Parker, 84, of Ellwood City, passed away at the Avalon Nursing Center in New Castle on Sunday, June 5, 2022.
Born in Beaver Falls on July 3, 1937, Carol was the daughter of the late Carl and Mary Buckenhiemer Behringer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald J. Parker on July 24, 2020. They were married on August 22, 1970. Carol was a Registered Nurse at the Ellwood City Hospital. She was also a nursing supervisor at the Passavant Health Care Center in Zelienople and the Providence Health Care Center in Beaver Falls. Carol taught nursing at Beaver County Community College. She was a graduate of the Jameson Nursing School, a member of the former Ellwood City Lioness Club and the Ellwood City Art Club.
Carol is survived by her 3 children, Bradley and Dawn Parker of New Castle, Russell and Lindsey Parker of Ellwood City and Dawn Marie Parker and Donald Davis of Wampum, a sister, Donna and Lawrence Frederick of New Castle, 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 97 Grim Avenue, Ellport on Thursday, June 9, 2022 from 6 PM until the time of her funeral service at 8 PM with Rev. Thomas O’Brien of the 1st Christian Church.
Interment will take place in Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
