Ellen L. (McEwen) Nye of Portersville, now of Northview Estate, Ellwood City, passed away on September 23, 2022 at the age of 90 years old. She was survived by her brother’s-in-law; Calvin Nye of Portersville, PA, Joe Nye of New Matamoras, OH and numerous nieces and nephews. She was born on April 17, 1932, in Fredonia, PA in Mercer County to John and Mary McEwen. She graduated from Fredonia Delaware High School. She was married for 64 years to M. Marjorie A. Ross, 83, (formerly of West Pittsburg) passed away Saturday, September 24, 2022 at Avalon Place. Born January 11, 1939 in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late John Clifford and Anna Gierling Booher. Marjorie attended YSU, where she received her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees. She was a Home-Ec Teacher at Shenango High School for 11 years and finished her career at Lark Enterprises as a Counselor, retiring after 25 years. Louella was born in Little Beaver Twp, PA on January 22, 1941, to Dorothy and Clarence Andrews Sr. She passed peacefully to her heavenly life on September 20, 2022. She married Robert Forrest Allen Stevenson on September 9, 1961 and was a true veteran’s wife. They were inseparable and shared their love of the Lord until his unexpected death in 2004. Holly Jane DiFrischia, 37, of New Castle passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 15, 2022 at the Jameson Hospital. Born August 28, 1985 in New Castle, she was the daughter of George Stevenish and the late Patricia Riggans Stevenish. She was married to Brad W. DiFrischia. Holly enjoyed collecting dolphins. Her children were her world and she cherished time spent with them. Patricia Anne Izzo Dombeck “Trish,” 53, of Ellwood City passed unexpectedly on September 13, 2022 at Jameson Hospital in New Castle, PA. Patricia was born on July 16, 1969 to the late Betty Lou Izzo and the late Patsy Natale Izzo.
