Betty L. Kirkwood, 82, of Bradenton Florida (formerly of Wampum) passed away Saturday, August 14, 2021 at the Beaver Valley Nursing and Rehab Center following an extended illness.
Born March 6, 1939 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late John T. and Helen Goehring Gabler. She was married to the late John E. Kirkwood. He passed in 2005.
Survivors include daughter, Lynda (John) Frum of Wampum; son, John E. Kirkwood, Jr. of Wampum; three sisters, Ida Matthews of Slippery Rock, Nancy Noto of Florida and Shirley Maxwell of Ellwood City; five grandchildren and one great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband John and her daughter Kelly Kirkwood.
Per Betty’s wishes, no services will be held.
Interment will be in Clinton Cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Marshall Funeral Home, Wampum.
