Annette Marie Allman, 60, of Ellwood City passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at Allegheny General Hospital following a brief illness. Born June 7, 1962 in Ft. Lee Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Elmer Edward and Carmella Jeanette Allman. Annette worked at McGuire Home since 1997. She graduated from Lincoln High School in 1980 and was Catholic by faith. Annette was an avid reader. She enjoyed classic rock music, especially Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix, and the Beatles. Mr. George H. Vogel, Jr., 85, of Ellwood City passed away on Tuesday, October 11th, 2022 at the Brighton Rehabilitation & Wellness Center. Mr. Vogel was born in Pittsburgh on August 11th, 1937 to the late George H. and Mary (Beyers) Vogel, Sr. George was a member of the first class to graduate from North Allegheny High School. Following high school he served with the United States Army for several years. George worked as an over the road truck driver, most recently for Russell Trucking, and had driven over a million miles. Mr. Harry L. Daufen, Sr., 75, of Franklin Township passed away on Tuesday, October 11th, 2022 at his residence. Mr. Daufen was born in Ellwood City on November 6th, 1946 to the late Carl E. “Granny” and Pearl O. (Herold) Daufen, Sr.. He is a member of the Riverside High School graduating class of 1966. He enlisted with the U.S. Army on September 14th, 1966 and served during the Vietnam War until his discharge on September 13th, 1968 with the rank of SP4. Tyler J. Long, 29, of Enon Valley passed away as the result of a motorcycle accident on Sunday, October 9th, 2022 in Springfield Twp., Mahoning County, Ohio. Tyler was born on March 31st, 1993 in Beaver, Pa to William and Brenda (Taylor) Long also of Enon Valley. He graduated from Pell City High School in Alabama with the class of 2012. Richard “Pappy” Vincent Fuchs, 89, of Ellwood City passed away on Friday, October 7, 2022 at UPMC Jameson Hospital. Born in Pittsburgh on June 17, 1933, Richard was the son of the late Vincent E. and Anna Mae O’Neil Fuchs.  He is survived by his wife, the former Kathleen Croke whom he married on February 1, 1958.  Richard retired as a clerk at CSX in 1992 after 42 years of service.  He was a veteran of the Army serving from May of 1953 through May of 1955.  Richard enjoyed watching his grandchildren play youth baseball and girls softball.  He prided…

Shirley Jean Twentier, 90, of Green, Ohio, formerly of Ellwood City, passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2022 at The Village of St. Edward at Green. Born in Jackson Township on August 20, 1932, Shirley was the daughter of the late Omar and Clara Meeder Zehner.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, William Twentier in May of 1995.  Shirley graduated from Zelienople High School and then Slippery Rock State Teacher’s College in 1954.  She taught first grade from 1954 through 1955 and then from 1958 through 1959 at Hillcrest Elementary School in the North East…
