My best friend, housekeeper and lover born August 29, 1947, went to be with her father and mother on July 4, 2021 at Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA after a brief illness. Mrs. Dorothy M. (Kramer) DiFrischia, 87,  of Scott Twp. passed away on Sunday, July 4, 2021 at the UPMC Jameson Hospital, Emergency Room. Mrs. DiFrischia was born on December 28, 1934 in Ellwood City to the late John and Matilda (Schuffert) Kramer. She had graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1953. Merle Redmond, 70, of Wampum, passed away in his residence on Tuesday, June 29, 2021. Born in Ellwood City on May 4, 1951, Merle was the son of the late Ralph and Sarah Hudspath Redmond.  He married the former Karin Cooper on July 18, 2008.  Merle could always be seen driving around Ellwood City and neighboring towns, collecting scrap metal.  He loved watching old westerns, wrestling and going to flea markets.
