Frances Stewart, 93, of Ellwood City passed away Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at UPMC Passavant McCandless. Born April 14, 1928 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Mary Mable Strohecker Partridge. She was married to Gilbert “Windy” Stewart when he passed in 1983. Frances was an active lifelong member of the 1st Christian Church in Ellwood City. Frances enjoyed playing bingo, camping, and animals. She always had beautiful flower gardens. Ben D. Tanchuk, 79, of Patterson Township passed away Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at Heritage Valley – Beaver following a short illness. Born February 2, 1942 in New Brighton, he was the son of the late Joe and Virginia Wiltrout Tanchuk. He was married to Judy Elliott Tanchuk when she passed in November 2015. Ben was the owner and operator of Falcon Gas Stations and then worked in Shippingport on barges. He enjoyed doing yard work and maintaining properties. Anna Marie Colavincenzo, 89, of Ellwood City, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 12, 2022. Born November 20, 1932 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late Vincenzo and Antoinette Cosentino Bellissimo. She was the beloved wife for 49 years to Herbert G. Colavincenzo when he passed on April 26, 2006. The loving mother to son Martin (Valerie) Colavincenzo and daughter Linda (Tim) Krings both of Pittsburgh. Helen June Bailey, 84, of Ellwood City passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at Good Samaritan Hospice in Beaver following a lengthy illness. Born June 7, 1937 in New Brighton, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mary Alice Barnes Wolfe. She was married to Donald E. Bailey Sr. when he passed on March 10, 2008. Born December 19, 1947 in New Castle, he was the son of the late Andrew and Carmella Arket Senchak. Shorty was formerly employed at the B&W where he worked as a bricklayer. He was a current member of the Croatian Club in West Pittsburg and the Polish White Eagles Club in Chewton. An outdoorsman, Shorty was an avid hunter and fisherman.
