Donald E. Fisher Sr., 84

Donald Eugene Fisher Sr., 84, of North Sewickley passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 7, 2023.

Born March 29, 1939 in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late William D. Sr. and Ida Thompson Fisher. He was married to Betty J. Chiez Fisher for over 52 years when she passed away in 2011.

Donald had retired in 1985 from the U.S. Steel Ellwood Works for B&W Tubular Products Company after 25 years or service. A member of the Park Gate Baptist Church, he was also a member of the Odd Fellows, Masons, and Shriners. He served in the Pennsylvania National Guard 229th Battery headquartered in New Castle. Some of his interests were traveling, motorcycles, horses, and hunting.

Survivors include son, Donald E. (Carolyn) Fisher Jr. of Ellwood City and daughter, Tammy S. (Robert) Fisher-Grzelka of Ellwood City; five grandchildren; Ashley and Donald (Cheyenne) Fisher III and Henry Jr., Mandy, and Brandon (Nikki) Krupa; five great-grandchildren; Sydney Fisher and Bentley, Aurora, William, and Hope Krupa; three sisters, Marie Bain of Binghamton, NY, Mary (Tomas) Moran of Eagle, PA, and Delores Smith of Ellwood City; brother, Harry Fisher of Ellwood City.

In addition to his parents and wife Betty, Donald was preceded in death by his great-grandson Henry Eugene Krupa who passed away in 2018 and three sisters; Helen Seiler, Edna Hall, and Violet Arkwright.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday November 10, 2023 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home, 200 Fountain Ave. Ellwood City.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday at the Funeral Home, on November 11, 2023 at 11:00 am. Masonic Services will be held.

Interment will follow in Slippery Rock Church Cemetery Mausoleum.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Shriners Hospital.
