Ron P. Kraynak, 82

Ron P. Kraynak, 82, of Ellwood City passed away Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at the Golden Hill Nursing Home.

Born December 24, 1940 in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late Paul and Mary Kotuba Kraynak. He was married to Joyce M. Newton Kraynak when she passed away on September 29, 2020.

Ron graduated from Lincoln in 1959. After graduation, he served in the U.S. Army from 1959-1962. Along with his wife Joyce, Ron was the owner and operator of the Homestead Bar in Ellwood City for 10 years. He was a member of the Union Goodwill Community Church in Ellwood City. An avid outdoorsman, Ron enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working in his garden. Above all, his most cherished moments were spent with his family.

Survivors include three sons, Robert (Jody) and Richard Lumley, and Ronnie Kraynak; two daughters, Ronaile and Linda Kraynak all of Ellwood City; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; sister, Judy (Robert) Garvin of Ellwood City; brother, Robert (Tania) Kraynak of Ellwood City and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Daniel Lumley and his great-granddaughter Alydia Rose.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday November 21, 2023 from 3:00 pm until the time of the Funeral Service at 7:00 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home, 200 Fountain Ave. Ellwood City. Pastor Paul Moore will officiate.

Interment will be in Slippery Rock Church Cemetery.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Union Goodwill Community Church, 950 East St. Ellwood City, 16117.
