Mrs. Socorro “Coring” (Dejelo) Zalamea, 83, of Ellwood City passed away on Wednesday, October 18th, 2023 at Longmeadow Care Center in Ravenna, Ohio. Mrs. Zalamea was born on September 25th, 1940 in Sampaloc, Philippines to the late Leon and Julia (Tejada) Dejelo. She had graduated from the Far Eastern University in Manila, Philippines having earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing in 1961. Mr. Thomas “Tommy” Sandore, 70, of Ellwood City passed away on Thursday, October 19th, 2023 at the Community Living Center in Butler. Tommy was born in Ellwood City on September 29th, 1953 to the late John and Rosa L. (Morabito) Sandore. He had attended Lincoln High School and is a member of the Divine Grace Parish, Holy Redeemer Church. Tommy enlisted with the Unites States Army on November 2nd, 1970 and served until his honorable discharge on August 11th, 1972 with the rank of Private First Class. Mr. William R. “Bill” Wiley, 92, of Wayne Township passed away on Tuesday, October 17th, 2023 at Quality of Life, New Castle. Mr. Wiley was born in Franklin Twp. on November 16th, 1930 to the late Herbert and Mona (Lewis) Wiley. He had attended Lincoln High School. Bill enlisted with the U.S. Army on November 25th, 1952 and served with the Company B 761st Tank Battalion until his discharge on November 24th, 1954 with the rank of Corporal. Thomas “Tommy” G. Dovutovich, 72, of Portersville, passed away on October 12th, 2023 at the Butler Memorial Hospital. Thomas was born on May 24th, 1951 in Sharon to Stephen and Anna (Krizanich) Dovutovich. He was a graduate of Brookfield High School class of 1969, he proudly played on their football team. Born April 6, 1947 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence J. and Agnes Cragle Pack. She was married to Stanley J. Rekrut. He passed away on July 26, 2000.
