Donald H. Haydo, 81, of Zelienople, went to be with Jesus on Monday, November 6, 2023, while under the care of Passavant Retirement Community.
He was born August 11, 1942, in Ellwood City, PA, the son of the late Julius Haydo, Jr., and Virgie Reagle Haydo.
Donald married Patricia A. Haydo (Kosior) on September 26, 1970. They enjoyed 53 years of marriage.
He served in the Army Reserves and was honorably discharged in May of 1976. He loved spending time with his family, and also gardening and reading.
He is survived by his wife; his children, Cary Haydo, Allison Bendekovic, Matthew Haydo and his wife, Lora, and Joshua Haydo; his grandchildren, Hannah Rose, Ethan Michael, Ethan Chase, Luke Aaron, Cole Edward, and Caleb Matthew; his sister, Linda Havener and her husband, Robert; and his sister-in-law, Carolyn Haydo.
In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by his brother, William Haydo.
The family would like to thank Passavant for their care of Donald, especially Dr. Vlha, Debbie, and the staff at Shenandoah and Tionesta.
