Lady Wolverines Defend Home Court, Beat Beaver Falls
The Ellwood City Lady Wolverines defended home court Monday night in a backyard battle with neighboring Beaver Falls, defeating the Tigers 53-48. Ellwood City used points from distance in pivotal third quarter and later at the free throw line to secure the section win. Three out of six player were in double figures including senior Isabella Roth with a team-high 15 points (four 3-pointers; 3-8 from the line).
