Walley Presented With Plaque

Wrestling standout Austin Walley was presented a plaque during the June 3rd Wolves Club meeting.

This plaque is a commemoration towards the seniors accomplishment of becoming Lincoln High School’s first ever champion in the PIAA Class 2A State Wrestling Championship. Walley closed out his senior year with a 45-1 record and a career mark  of 139-25.  The 182-pound Ellwood City senior earned the PIAA Wrestling Championship for with a victory over Dylan Bennett of Montoursville Area HS in March after collecting WPIAL gold in February.

Walley is headed for Bucknell University to wrestle come next school year.

Ellwood Athletic Director, Curtis Agostinelli presented Walley the plaque at Mary Jo’s Catering on Lawrence Avenue.
