Nellie Shaffer, 95, of Fombell passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 in the Butler Memorial Hospital. Born in Camp Run, Beaver County, Nellie was the daughter of the late Leroy and Frances Steffler Smith.  She was preceded in death by her husband, John Shaffer, on July 17, 2020.  They were married on September 4, 1948.  Nellie was a member of Wurtemburg Presbyterian Church. Bruce Myers, 73, of North Sewickley Township, passed away on Friday, January 19, 2024 in his residence surrounded by his family. Born in Ellwood City on December 5, 1950, Bruce was the son of the late Charles and Dorothy Zduniak Myers.  He married the former Kathryn Snider on June 21, 1975.  Bruce graduated from Lincoln High School in 1968. R. Sue Brain, 84, of New Castle passed away at UPMC Jameson on Thursday, January 11, 2024. Born in Butler, PA on June 12, 1939, Sue was the daughter of the late William Deryll and Lois Pollock Dailey.  She retired from Rockwell where she was a tool purchasing and distributing agent. Sue is survived by her son, Jeff (Joanie) Wright of Portersville, a granddaughter; Monica (Sean) Kantola of Wayne Township, a great grandson; Micah Kantola, and two brothers; William Dailey of San Diego, California and Deryll Dailey of Portersville. Jeffrey E. Thomas, 74, of Fombell, passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at PAM Health Heritage Valley. Born on July 1, 1949 in Bellevue, PA Jeff was the son of the late Ed and Donna Bergman Thomas. He graduated from Riverside High School in 1967 and from the Community College of Beaver County in 1971 with a degree in drafting and machine design.
