Ellwood City Council Agenda Meeting, New Electric Rate For Vote

Ellwood City Council held their regular monthly agenda meeting on December 10. All council members were present at the meeting. New Ellwood City Borough Manager Elected at November Council Meeting

Ellwood City Council votes on new borough manager at the monthly meeting on November 19. All council members were present at the meeting except Mayor, Anthony J. Court. Ellwood City Council has finally permanently filled the borough manager position for the upcoming year. The council voted 5-2 for William David Allen to be the new full-time borough manger. Ellwood City Council held their regular monthly agenda meeting on November 13. All council members were present at the meeting except Mayor, Anthony J. Court due to a prior engagement. Club Hope Foundation Sells Pink Out Challenge Shirts for Ellwood vs. Riverside Football

The Club Hope Foundation is selling Pink Out T-Shirts for $10 to be worn for the football games during October. Club Hope is doing a Football Challenge at the Ellwood vs. Riverside game on October 12. A teacher from each school will go on the field at halftime and throw mini-footballs into a garbage can. The teacher that loses has to wear a t-shirt from the other school for the remainder of the game. Ellwood City Animal Hospital Offerings for Fall 2018

This fall Ellwood City Animal Hospital is offering three clinics that could benefit any pet. The animal hospital has two doctors, Amanda Brown and Alyssa Carver. There are three different clinic dates that revolve around hemp/ CBD for pets, stem cell therapy, acupuncture and titer testing. Lincoln High School Building Updates

Lincoln High School is undergoing some renovations to their science wing and the exterior curtain wall of the building. The project was to replace a curtain wall along the science wing of the high school. The curtain wall was inefficient as far as heating and cooling since it was single pane windows and aluminum framing. “The decision to replace the wall occurred this past spring and work began as soon as school let out in May,” Superintendent, Joseph E. The Annual Pie Festival hosted by the Lincoln Blue Band will be held on Thursday, Aug. 23 at Helling Stadium. Ellwood City Council May Still Consider More Changes to Ellwood City Electric

Ellwood City council members have met more than half of the seven suggestions they received in a letter about improving Ellwood City Electric Department from Rep. Aaron Bernstine and state Sen. Elder Vogel Jr., after Monday nights council meeting. Ellwood City Council voted yes Monday to extend the delinquency period on bills from the borough-run department from 12 days to 16 days, to eliminate the $5 fee for delinquency notices and drop the penalty rate from 5 percent to 2.5 percent. Council Votes on Issue Regarding Ellwood City Electric

Ellwood City Council Votes 4-2 at Monday’s agenda meeting to find out more information on Rep. Aaron Bernstine’s suggested changes to the Ellwood City Electrical Department. The council will not be voting on the seven issues suggested by Bernstine at next Monday’s council meeting.
