Mayor Court Announces 4th Beautification Award Winner of 2026

Mayor Anthony J. Court presented Barb and Bob Campbell of 416 Pershing Street with a Beautification Award in recognition of their well-maintained and attractive property which reflects exceptional pride and care. The Campbells also received a commemorative yard sign to display and a gift certificate to a local restaurant in appreciation of their efforts. The Beautification Program continues this month with two more awards to be presented. Nominations are still being accepted-be sure to recognize a deserving property in your neighborhood!


Third Recipient of 2026 Beautification Awards Announced

Kevin and Michelle Swogger of 219 Evans Drive have been named Beautification Award winners for their beautifully maintained and inviting property. Mayor Anthony Court presented the award in recognition for their efforts. Mayor Court Accepts Donation To Festival From Local Realtor

Mayor Anthony J. Court accepted a check from Bud Mazzant, a realtor with Berkshire Hathaway, in support of the Ellwood City Festival. Court swore in Police Officer Trent Young on April 29, 2026. “Today we are proud to welcome you into the service of the Borough of Ellwood City,” Mayor Court said. “We are pleased to have you join the Ellwood City Police Department and wish you safety, wisdom, and success as you serve our community.” Council voted to hire Young as a Patrolman for the Ellwood City Police Department during a April borough council meeting.
