PHOTO: Mayor Court Presents Grant Foley with Proclamation

Mayor Anthony J. Court recently presented a proclamation to Grant Foley, recognizing him as a local hero for his dedicated service to the country.

The mayor praised Foley for putting his life on the line in defense of the nation, calling his sacrifice and courage an inspiration to the entire community.

“We are proud to honor Grant for his bravery and commitment to serving others,” Court said in a statement.

The proclamation highlights Foley’s service and expresses the community’s gratitude for his contributions and sacrifice. Foley was also recently promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Commander, further reflecting his dedication and leadership in service to the nation.

Mayor Anthony J. Court recognized and commended Grant Foley for his exemplary service, and proclaimed Friday, June 26, 2026 to be “Grant Foley Day” in the Borough of Ellwood City.
