The Ellwood City Wolves Club Den II met on Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at their shelter in Ewing Park. Each year the Wolves Club hosts an appreciation dinner for their members, their wives and significant others who have volunteered at their three fundraisers during the year. Sixty four members attended the steak dinner prepared by their members Bob Delisio, Matt Wally and Chuck Houk. Dimeo, Swogger Among Guests At Ellwood City Wolves Club Meeting

The Ellwood City Wolves Club Den II met on Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at their Shelter in Ewing Park. President Mike DeOtto opened the meeting introducing guests Jackie Dimeo and Kevin Swogger. Mrs Dimeo is the President of the Divine Grace Parish Christian Mothers. The Christian Mothers have worked with the Wolves Club Ash Wednesday Fish Fry’s and Golf Bash for many years. The Wolves Club provided a donation of $2500 from the Golf Bash Fund Raising efforts in honor of their continued help and support and to assist in their efforts to start a scholarship program of their own….

On Wednesday, May 31st, the Ellwood City Wolves Den II hosted a dinner to honor the recipients of the Wolves Club Scholarships for 2023. Ten Wolves Club Scholarships, with a value of $18,035, were awarded this year including three new ones. The Ellwood City Wolves Club Den II held their monthly meeting on Wednesday, March 8th at the Connequenessing Country Club. The meeting was conducted by President Mike DeOtto. The Wolves Club sponsored Annual Golf Bash held on Sunday, February 19, 2023 was successful. The event raised over $15,000 for the Wolves Club Scholarship Program. The Ellwood City Wolves Club Den 11 met on Wednesday at the Connequenessing Country Club. The Club finalized their plans for their next fundraiser: The Golf Bash on Sunday, February 19, 2023. This annual event is held at the Ellwood City Sons of Italy Hall on Lawrence Ave. The event runs from 1:00 -5:00 PM with volunteers needed to help on the floor and in the kitchen. Wolves Club Honors The Carpenters Project

The Ellwood City Wolves Club Den 11 met on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at the Connequenessing Country Club and honored The Carpenter’s Project with their Pro Bono Publico Award. “Pro Bono Publico” is the Wolves Club motto which means for the Good of The Public. The Carpenters Project has been doing projects (painting, repairs, brush cleaning, power washing and installing handicap ramps) for area citizens since 2001. The projects are completed by volunteers from area churches and school students during one week in the summer, usually in July. Dancing In The Rain: 2022 Ellwood City Oktoberfest Held Amid Rain Skies

Rain and torrential downpours on Saturday afternoon did not damper the mood in Ewing Park as nearly 700 people braved the elements to enjoy the Ellwood City Oktoberfest. The 12th annual event squeaked out a few reasonably accommodating hours between the waves of rain that entered the Saturday afternoon forecast. The Ellwood City Wolves Club Den II met on Wednesday August 10, 2022, and recognized student athletes from Lincoln and Riverside Schools for their accomplishments these past school years.
