Lawrence Pasquale, 91 of Townwood Rd., North Sewickley Township passed away at the Ellwood City Medical Center on Monday, November 13, 2017. Born in Ellwood City on June 9, 1926 Lawrence was the son on the late Guiseppe and Maria Purinna Pasquale.  He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Theressa Piacesi on April 1, 1983.  Lawrence retired from the Ellwood Works of US Steel where he worked in the foundry.  After US Steel closed he worked at the B&W.  Lawrence also helped construct both the Zelienople Community Mausoleum and the Slippery Rock Cemetery Mausoleum.  He was a…

Alan H. Bargebuhr, 83, formerly of South Hills passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at the Jefferson Medical Center in Clairton. Born December 22, 1933 in New York City, he was the son of the late Herbert and Jeanette Aron Bargebuhr. Alan retired as the District Director of the Pennsylvania Public Welfare Office in McKeesport. He was a Veteran of the Army and a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh. Survivors include a daughter, Rachel J. Bargebuhr of Ellwood City and his best friend, Georgia Stuart of Whitehall. Mr. John Albert Manzetti, 93, of Franklin Twp. passed away on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at the Heritage Valley Medical Center. John was a true part of the “Greatest Generation” and was the “real deal”.  He was a proud father of 2 boys, grandfather of 4 and great-grandfather of 5. Mr. Manzetti was born on January 19, 1924 in Beaver Falls to the late Peter and Mary Trozzo Manzetti.
