Emily Rose Copeland was born on September 16th, 1950 and died on July 25th, 2025 after a surprising, brave and difficult journey with metastatic cancer. She was surrounded by friends and family. She is survived by her loving siblings, Eric (Pam), Jane, and Gwen (Trent), daughter, Renée (PJ), stepdaughter Sara and family, 6 nieces and nephews, and countless first cousins. Mrs. Delores F. Miles, 75, of Homewood passed away peacefully at her residence on Tuesday, July 22nd, 2025. Mrs. Miles was born the daughter of the late Joseph and Olive (Simmons) Shutack on August 17th, 1949 in Beaver Falls. She had graduated from Beaver Falls High School with the class of 1967. For 25 years Delores worked as a certified nurses aide at Friendship Ridge Nursing Center in Beaver. She is a longtime member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the New Galilee VFW Post 8106. Clifford Alfred Kennedy, 87, of Slippery Rock Twp. passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at UPMC – Jameson Hospital following a short illness. Born May 22, 1938, in Slippery Rock Twp, he was the son of the late Alfred Heinz Kennedy and Lyda Hogue Kennedy Powell. Clifford was an Army Veteran and attended Harmony Baptist Church. He worked as a machinist at Kennedy Tubular in New Castle until his retirement. Born in Ellwood City, PA. on March 9, 1931. As early as 9 years, after the death of his mother, he worked in his families’ grocery stores. In 1949, he married his childhood sweetheart, Rosemary. He realized a dream in 1951 upon acceptance into dental school. He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dentistry in 1955 and earned a commission with the United States Navy as a Lieutenant Commander.
