Carol A. Miller, 89, of Wampum passed away Friday, July 18, 2025 at her daughter’s home following a short illness. Born October 20, 1935 in Wampum, she was the daughter of the late Russel and Velma Grinnen Mohr. She shared 66 years of marriage with Louis W. “Macy” Miller. He passed away on August 3, 2024. Carol graduated from Wampum High School and then served in the US Navy from October 25, 1954 until December 22, 1955. She was born in Ellwood City on September 17, 1933 to Katherine and Oliver Miller. She had one brother, Robert Miller, who predeceased her. Leona Joanne Swartzlander, 92, of Wampum went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at Providence Care Center. Born December 2, 1932 in Penn Hills, she was the daughter of the late John W. Croft, Sr. and Ethel Marie Mains Croft. She married Donald A. Swartzlander, Sr. on September 27, 1952.
