Mrs. Leona W. Wolfe, 100, of Ellwood City passed away on Thursday, May 29th, 2025 at the UPMC Jameson Hospital in New Castle. Mrs. Wolfe was born in Ellwood City on February 21st, 1925 to the late Stanislaw and Caroline (Pogozelec) Sutkowski. She had graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1943. Prior to getting married, Leona worked for U.S. Steel in Ellwood City as a secretary. Leona is a member of the Divine Grace Parish, Holy Redeemer Church and the Holy Redeemer Christian Mothers. Mrs. Edna G. (Sullivan) Funari, 91, passed away on May 24, 2025, with her loving family by her side. She was born on August 5, 1933, in Ellwood City, PA, daughter of the late Alfred and Edna Sullivan. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose kindness touched all who knew and loved her. Edna enjoyed the time she spent working at Holy Redeemer Social Services, where she loved helping the community. Yet her greatest joy came from being with her family. Mrs. Madeline (Molly) Lendick, 104, passed away peacefully on May 15, 2025. Born on April 25, 1921, in Rochester, NY, she was the beloved daughter of Pietro and Carmen (DeJonghe) Magliocca. The oldest daughter of eleven siblings, Molly grew up in a loving, close-knit Italian-French family. Daniel M. Murin, 53, of Ellwood City, PA, formerly of West Pittsburg, passed away at home on Sunday, May 25, 2025 following a courageous, prolonged battle with Pancreatic Cancer. Doran James Keeley, 71, of Bessemer, PA died on May 22, 2025 in Youngstown, OH following a brief illness. He was born on January 1, 1954, a son of the late Donald W. Keeley Sr. and Marjory “Marge” Phillips Keeley Nye. Mary Ann Beatty, 82, of Beaver Falls passed away on Monday, May 19, 2025, following a brief illness. Born November 15, 1942, in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late Robert J. and Mary Lou (Braham) Trotter. Mary Ann married Thomas Beatty in June of 1963.
