Mr. William R. “Bill” Wiley, 92, of Wayne Township passed away on Tuesday, October 17th, 2023 at Quality of Life, New Castle. Mr. Wiley was born in Franklin Twp. on November 16th, 1930 to the late Herbert and Mona (Lewis) Wiley. He had attended Lincoln High School. Bill enlisted with the U.S. Army on November 25th, 1952 and served with the Company B 761st Tank Battalion until his discharge on November 24th, 1954 with the rank of Corporal. Alice M. Cosentino, 95, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday October 13, 2023. Alice was born on December 9, 1927, to Antoinette Rose Maino and Silvio D. (Sam) Alfonso in Ellwood City, Pennsylvania. She was a graduate of Lincoln High School, Class of 1945 in Ellwood city. She continued her education at Seton Hill University in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, graduating in 1949 with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Home Economics. Thomas “Tommy” G. Dovutovich, 72, of Portersville, passed away on October 12th, 2023 at the Butler Memorial Hospital. Thomas was born on May 24th, 1951 in Sharon to Stephen and Anna (Krizanich) Dovutovich. He was a graduate of Brookfield High School class of 1969, he proudly played on their football team. He also played for various local softball teams. He was catholic by faith. After High School, Thomas went on to serve in the United States Air Force. Mr. George H. Creese, Jr., 80, of Fombell passed away on Sunday, October 15th, 2023 at AHN Wexford. Mr. Creese was born in Ellwood City to the late George H. and Jeanette (Rossman) Creese, Sr. on October 18th, 1942. He is a member of the Lincoln High School class of 1960. Kathy B. Rekrut, 76, of Brighton Township passed away unexpectedly Thursday, October 12, 2023 at her residence at the Friendship Commons. Born April 6, 1947 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence J. and Agnes Cragle Pack. She was married to Stanley J. Rekrut. He passed away on July 26, 2000. Amy is survived by her sister Patty Woodrome, niece Lindsey Nicole Woodrome, nephew Taylor Woodrome and his fiancée Keda, great nephew Channing McClure, and many cousins, one she was particularly close to, Sue Bajan. Mr. Joseph C. Nardone, 96, of Koppel, passed away peacefully on October 8th, 2023. Born November 1st, 1926, in Beaver Falls, he was the son of the late Charles & Rose (Petti) Nardone. Joe graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1944. He served in the US Army from February 1st, 1945 until his honorable discharge on November 22nd, 1946 with the 86th Infantry Division stationed in the Philippines with the rank of Sargant.
