Formerly of Ellwood City Dennis Patrick D’Angelo, age 44, of Gallipolis, Ohio, passed away at Riverside Methodist Hospital on Sunday, December 31, 2017. Born July 20, 1973, in Warren, Pa., he was the son of Sharyn (Oscar) Bastiani and Richard (Nancy) D’Angelo. In addition to his parents, Dennis is survived by his wife, Mendy D’Angelo; two children, Nicholas D’Angelo and Chancey Odom; sisters, Karen (Casey) Tautfest and Vicki (John) Schettler; several aunts, uncles and cousins, and his lifelong friend, Bill Brady of Alabama. Maudress “Maudie” Anna Boots, 85, formerly of Portersville passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at Northview Estates. Born November 6, 1932 in Portersville, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Anna Kennedy Frazier. Maudie worked at the Butler Hospital for 20 years in the Anesthesia Department. She was an active and devoted member of the First Church of God where she served as their treasurer for many years. Maudie cherished time spent with her family. Family and Church were her life. Carl W. Bender, Jr., 88, of Neshannock Township, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 29, 2017 at the Avalon Nursing Center. He was born November 18, 1929 to the late Carl W. Robert E. Campbell, 85 of Harmony-Fisher Ave., Ellwood City passed away at his residence on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at 5:35 PM. Born in Ellwood City on February 16, 1932 Robert was the son of the late Erwin and Delilah Newton Campbell.  He is survived by his wife, the former Sara McLaughlin whom he married on May 17, 1952.
