Tomak, Wilmington Hockey Upset Bishop Canevin In Overtime
An overtime game-winning goal by Ellwood City’s Drake Tomak propelled the Wilmington hockey team to 2-1 upset victory over Bishop Canevin Thursday night. The loss was only Bishop Canevin’s second of the year which were both at the hands of the Greyhounds. The Crusaders got on the scoreboard first with the only goal in the first period, but Wilmington evened the score in the 2nd period on a power play goal by Andrew Cartwright (Union) with assists going to Noah Monstwil (Mohawk) and Davis Phanco (Wilmington).
