Riverside Football Tickets on Sale

After Riverside successfully defeated Frazier on Friday night, they are now preparing for the second playoff game this Friday Night against Avonworth. The game will be played at Seneca Valley at 7:30p.m. Tickets will be on sale this Wednesday in the high school athletic office from 7:50a.m.-10-50a.m. Then tickets will be sold in the middle school and elementary lunches from 10:50a.m.-12:30p.m. Finally, tickets will be on sale in the athletic office again from 12:30p.m.- 1:30p.m. Student tickets are $5 and adult tickets are $7. All tickets will be $7 at the gate.

Panthers Run Over Frazier In WPIAL Playoff Opening Round Victory

The Riverside Panthers used a strong ground game and a stout defense to blank Frazier 34-0 in WPIAL Class-AA opening round action Friday night at Riverside Memorial Stadium. Panther back LeMarcus Cleckley rushed for 135 yards and two touchdowns to lead the offensive attack that scored twice in the second quarter and twice in the second half to soundly defeat the Commodores . Riverside running back Noah Harris joined Cleckley in the 100-yard club, finishing the contest with 107 yards rushing including the games opening score. REC Wrestling Registration

The grade 1-6 boys and girls REC Wrestling registrations dates are coming up fast. Registration will be on Mondaym November 6th, Wednesday, November 8th, and Monday, November 13th.  The registration will take place in Lincoln High School. You can mail in the registration form if interested, but unable to attend registration.  Additional forms and information can be found on the REC Wrestling website at www.leaguelineup.com/recwrestling ‘Set goals. Riverside Football Qualifies for WPIAL Playoffs

Congratulations to the Riverside Football Team for qualifying for the WPIAL playoffs. The team will host Frazier this Friday at 7:30p.m. in the first round of the playoffs. The Ellwood City Amateur Baseball Federation (ECABF) has the following Executive Officers positions coming up for election for the 2018/2019 Seasons: President, Vice President, Secretary & Treasurer.  All positions are a 2 year term. PHOTOS: Riverside retains “Riv-Ell” Cup as Panthers defeat Wolverines on Senior Night

The game of football has three phases: offense, defense, and special teams. Under each phase is a sub-phase that contributes to a victory, such as passing, rushing, turnovers, tackling, kicking, and punting. All these and more were won by the Panthers of Riverside in a one-sided, full dominant 40-0 victory Friday night. BC3 Volleyball Squad Crowned WPCC Champs Again

Butler, PA- Brittney Bianco had 35 assists and Emily Magusiak 11 kills as the Butler County Community College volleyball team on Saturday won its 14th Western Pennsylvania Collegiate Conference title since 1977, ninth under coach Rob Snyder and third in a row by sweeping the Community College of Beaver County. BC3, the tournament’s top seed, beat the Titans 25-16, 25-16 and 25-20 in the best-of-5 finals and moved to 17-5 entering this weekend’s National Junior College Athletic Association Region XX Division III championships. Girls and Boys Soccer in the WPIAL PLAYOFFS

Both the Riverside Girls and Boys Soccer Teams qualified for the WPIAL Playoffs. The boys will play first as they play this Saturday, October 21 at 3PM at North Allegheny High School as they take on Freeport High School.  The bus will leave from the high school K- Center parking lot at 1 PM.
