Riverside Sophomores, Skylar Fox and Justin Hand advanced to the PIAA Individual Golf Finals next week in Hershey. Both will compete in the state finals based on their performance in the western finals.
The Wolverines have had issues with keeping players on the field throughout the year due to lingering injuries. The same occurred Friday night as three starters were injured during a conference game match-up against favorited Derry Trojans. Derry came into the evening with only loss to conference foe Elizabeth Forward. Passing has become a focal point for the Wolverines in the past two weeks as Ellwood has had much success in the quick-strike, quick-score type of plays. Nicholas Ioanilli, Lincoln graduate of 2016 is now attending Colgate and playing for their football team as a middle linebacker.
