 Grove City entered Friday evening’s non section game with 11 home runs on the season. The Lady Wolverines won the home run battle and the game with a 9-5 victory. Ellwood City Wolverines Wins Back-And-Forth Affair Against Beaver Falls Ellwood City Wolverines defeated Beaver Falls 7-6 in a back-and-forth affair on Wednesday. The game was tied at three with Ellwood City Wolverines batting in the top of the sixth when Jordan Recce reached on a dropped third strike. Despite falling down by four runs in the seventh inning, Beaver Falls tried to fight back. Skyla Greco didn’t allow a single run as Wolverines defeated Riverside 10-0 on Tuesday. Greco allowed just two hits and struck out Baily Dwyer to end the game. Wolverines grabbed an early lead. Riverside was victorious over Ellwood City in both the girls and boys track competition Monday evening. “The teams competed well, but we are missing the depth to compete with a strong team such as Riverside. I’m very pleased with how hard all of the athletes work, and it shows in their individual performances. With the Ellwood City Adult Basketball League’s regular season winding down, quite a bit was on the line Sunday at the Family Center. To start, the highly coveted first round playoff bye was still up for grabs. Turncoats, owners of first place, looked to continue their residency of the top seed. Four RBI Day for Magill Leads Wolverines Past Freedom Area

Wolverines defeated Freedom Area 16-1 on Tuesday thanks in part to Brooklyn Magill, who drove in four runners. Magill drove in runs on a single in the second, a single in the fourth, and a single in the fifth. Wolverines collected 16 hits. Brooklyn Magill, Eisabela Miller, Zoe Kalantzis, Anna Ferrucci, and Reagan Mittler each collected multiple hits for Wolverines. Miller and Magill.
