Positive Action Initiative At North Side
Starting this year, students at North Side school participated in a new kind of initiative. Principal Christine Gibson and her fellow co-works help the students practice positive action by teaching the students to be responsible, respectful, safe, and positive. In reward for following these four actions, students are given ‘blue slips’ which they can go and place in the positive action mascot Wolvie the Wolverine. Each month students are gathered to attend an assembly to celebrate all of their positive actions.
