Valerie Valentino conducted a meeting of the Corona D’italia #807 Memorial Scholarship Committee on Wednesday, March 20, 5:00 PM at Pizza Joe’s. The session began with the group enjoying lunch of their choice. Lois DiFrischia presented candy favors to all in attendance. The committee will host a Mother-Daughter-Scholarship dinner on Tuesday, May 07, 5:00 PM at the Wolverine Restaurant. This will represent the final awarding of two $500.00 scholarships as the Lodge has disbanded. Residents living in the Franklin and Marion Townships will be able to drop off their household hazardous and electronic waste “the right way” on Saturday, April 6 from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Those who wish to participate can drop their items off at the Franklin Township Municipal Building.
