Lawrence County’s Earth Day Scheduled for April 20

The annual Lawrence County Earth Day Celebration will be held on Saturday, April 20th at Ewing Park from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

There will be vendors, exhibits, food provided by INMETCO, musical entertainment, free horse and trolley rides. Wild World of Animals will be returning with exotic animals at noon and the 3rd Annual Trashion Show will be held at 11:00 a.m. First and second place winners of each category will receive cash prizes. The Earth Day Rocks Adventure will take place along the Nature Trail where you can find painted rocks.

Interested vendors can fill out the attached vendor application by this Friday, April 5th and email to ecce1892@gmail.com or mail to Ellwood City Community Enrichment, 806 Lawrence Avenue, Ellwood City PA 16117.

Interested Trashion Show participants can fill out the attached registration form by April 12th and email to ecce1892@gmail.com or mail to the address above.

Lawrence County Earth Day is sponsored by INMETCO, Ellwood City Forge, Ellwood Group, McElwain Paint and Collision Center, Pennsylvania American Water, Lindy Paving, Nalco, Reed’s Services, Katy’s Homestyle Bakery & More, Borough of Ellwood City, the Hoyt Foundation, and Caroline Knox Memorial Fund.
