Holy Redeemer To Host Local Group “One Voice”

On Friday, local group “One Voice” will be performing at the Holy Redeemer Church in Ellwood City.  The event is scheduled to begin at 7:00pm The program is titled “Oh Come Let Us Adore Him” and is said to be an advent Christmas program. Coffee Shop Lessons: Project Educate Comes To Ellwood

Project Educate is returning to Ellwood City. The workshops started in November and returned for its December workshop earlier this week. The plan is for it to keep coming back every second Monday of the month through the summer of 2019. These workshops are held at 6:00 p.m. at National Grind. The Ellwood City Municipal Women’s Club will be holding their 32nd Annual Christmas House Tour on Saturday, December 8, from 10:00 a.m until 3:00 p.m. On the tour, there will be five homes featured. Tickets are $10 and sold at local businesses such as Kimpel’s Jewelers and Blocher’s Jewelers, Marketplace on Main, Shop at the Underpass and Posies by Patti. Lincoln High School’s 75th Annual Christmas Gift Concert

The Lincoln High Schools Choral Music Department is extremely proud to be presenting it’s 75th Annual Christmas Gift Concert on Sunday, December 16, at 3:00 p.m at Lincoln High School. The music department is dedicated to maintaining the wonderful tradition of excellence in choral music making began by the late Paul Gehm 75 years ago, which was continued by Sandy Lumley Garlick and the late Cindy Pertile. Route 351 Koppel Bridge Traffic Stoppages begin Monday

Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT District 11 is announcing traffic stoppages on the Koppel Bridge (Route 351) in Koppel Borough and North Sewickley Township, Beaver County, will begin Monday, December 3 weather permitting. Traffic stoppages of 15 minutes or less will occur weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the Koppel Bridge through Tuesday, January 15. Crews from Brayman Construction will conduct steel erection for the new bridge from the existing structure. Motorists should expect delays. Ellwood City held their annual holiday events this past weekend – Friday night’s Light Up Night and Saturday afternoon’s Christmas Parade invited families and friends downtown Ellwood City for holiday festivities. A cool and clear night helped set the stage for Light Up Night with the lighting of the large tree in the community plaza, but as with the annual parade, what feels like annual rain was in the forecast. 46th Annual Wampum Area Christmas Parade

Wampum, PA – On Thursday evening, November 29th, hundreds of local folks enjoyed a full fireworks display preceded by Wampum’s “Light Up the Town” where homemade luminaries lined main Street and Wampum’s old-fashioned decorations were lighted for the season. Refreshments were served along with pockets of entertainment including cloggers, wood carving demonstrations and Carolers were found throughout Main Street. And horse-drawn carriage rides were available all evening.
