Women of Faith International To Hold Their 2nd Annual Dinner/Outreach

The Women of Faith International, Inc. will be holding their 2nd annual dinner/outreach program this year. After a successful free Christmas dinner last year the group has planned this year’s dinner for December 25, 2019 beginning at 11:00 am. The event is scheduled to be held at First United Methodist Church, 416 Crescent Avenue, in Ellwood City and will held from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. The Ellwood City Area Public Library offers a variety of weekly activities.  Information is available by calling the library at 724-758-6458. Activities taking place this week include MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 30 THROUGH SATURDAY, OCTOBER 5 – The Library’s Annual Book Sale will take place. Hours are 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. on Friday; and 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Monday will also feature a bake sale. A reminder to local and area residents looking to kick off the fall season, the annual Ellwood City Fall Festival and Car Cruise is this Saturday in downtown Ellwood City The Ellwood City Area Chamber of Commerce will be hosting the event that takes place from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm on Lawrence Avenue.  There will be food, vendors, family activities, a car cruise, and local entertainment. Penn State Master Gardeners of Lawrence County Host Terrarium Workshop

The Penn State Master Gardeners of Lawrence County will be hosting a Terrarium Workshop. Participants will learn how to make a terrarium with step-by-step instructions from the Master Gardeners. The cost of the workshop is $15, which includes all materials needed. This will be held Tuesday September 24th at 6:00 pm located at the New Castle Public Library 207 E North St New Castle, Pa 16101. Ellwood City’s Fearscapes Haunted Attraction a Menacing Maze

Need a little fear in your life? You don’t have to leave Ellwood City to find it. FearScapes Haunted Attraction located in the old Snyder Factory, 1503 Brentwood Avenue, has plenty of fright up its sleeve. Fall Craft Show Planned at First United Methodist Church

A Fall Craft Show will be held at First United Methodist Church Ellwood City later this month. The show is scheduled to take place on Saturday, September 21, beginning at 9:00 am.  The show will take place in the Fellowship Hall of the church, located at 416 Crescent Avenue, in Ellwood City.
