Franklin Township Announces Shadyrest & Soap Run Road Cleanup

Help keep Franklin Township clean and beautiful. A cleanup is planned for Shadyrest & Soap Run Road on Friday, April 8th (Rain date, April 18th). Registered groups will be meeting at the Franklin Township Community Park at 8:30 a.m. and will pick up until 11:00 a.m. Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful is providing clean up supplies through their PICK UP PENNSYLVANIA initiative. EC Fire Department Hosting Monthly CPR/AED & First Aid Class

Ellwood City Fire Department will host their monthly CPR/AED and First Aid class on Wednesday April 6th at 6:30 p.m. The class will take place at the fire station, located at 411 6th Street, Ellwood City, PA 16117 The class teaches American Heart Association Courses. BLS for Healthcare providers, Heartsaver for the Public, Pediatric CPR/AED and First Aid for the Preschool and Day Care providers. Pre-registration is required. American Idol’s Morgan Gruber to Perform at Koehler

Ellwood City Band Bash will host “An Evening with Morgan Gruber” at Koehler Brewery Pub on April 9. Along with Gruber, local bands The Leftovers, Mac ‘n Nat, and Rover will play. Cost is $10 at the door. Concert goers will have a chance to meet Gruber, get an autograph, and buy Morgan branded gear. Bands will start at 4:30. Winter Wine and Brew Fest Tickets Still Available

Tickets are still available for The Annual Ellwood City Winter Wine and Brew Fest. The event will take place from 1 to 4 p.m. on March 26 at the Sons of Italy at 808 Lawrence Ave. The event is an annual favorite and proceeds benefit Ellwood City Revitalization.
