Don’t Miss the Dog Days of Summer Event

It’s going to be a doggy dog world at Ewing Park this weekend! Don’t miss this year’s Dog Days of Summer event happening tomorrow June 24 and Sunday June 25 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., rain or shine. The event, which is sponsored by Reeds Services, will benefit police K9s and will feature dock diving dogs, barn dogs, working dogs & k-9 police competitions all weekend long. Upcoming Butterfly Release At Moraine State Park Regatta

Come to the Moraine State Park Regatta and release a monarch butterfly in honor of a special someone, in memory of a loved one, or just for fun! Monarch butterflies are now available for pre-purchase. This release fills the sky with the color and movement of one of nature’s most beautiful creatures, the Western Pennsylvania Monarch. Individuals who pre-purchased Monarchs can release their butterflies in private, and the names (in honor of/in memory of) that were included at the time of purchase will be listed on the Regatta website. Ellwood City Memorial Swimming Pool Summer Float Nights Set To Begin Saturday

The first of three, free community Summer Float Nights at the Ellwood City Memorial Swimming Pool will take place on Saturday, June 17th with the film Finding Nemo shown. Ellwood City Tennis To Host Mini Clinic

Ellwood City Tennis will be conducting a tennis clinic for any boy or girl interested in learning the basics of tennis. The tennis clinic will be held on June 26th, 27th, and 28th, 2023 at the Ewing Park Courts from 10:00 a.m to 11:15 a.m. Any child ages 5-12 is eligible to sign up and participate. Each participant will receive a t-shirt. The clinic will promote tennis skills from the basic to moderate level. “The participants will learn skills pertaining to tennis. LHS Class of 2003 To Hold Its 20 Year Reunion In June

On June 24, 2023 the Lincoln High School Class of 2003 will hold its 20 year reunion. It will be held at Robert E. Rodgers Memorial Park in Ellport from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Several members of the class began discussing the reunion during the summer of 2022 according to former class president, Dr. Cassie Leymarie PhD, now of Atlanta, Georgia.
