   Patricia J. Miller, 75, of Edinburg (New Castle) passed away on Wednesday August 24th 2016 at UPMC Jameson Hospital, New Castle. Pat was born on September 8, 1940 in Rimersburg, PA. to the late Russell and Geneva Frampton Lewis. She married Blaine E. Miller, who preceded her in death on January 16, 2001. Mary was born in New Castle PA on April 25 1950 to the late Donald E. Leydig and the late Betty J. Phillippi Leydig. Richard V. Fisher, 85 of Perry Highway (US Rte 19), Portersville, passed away on Saturday, August 13th 2016 at the Good Samaritan Hospice, Cabot, Pennsylvania. Dick was born in New Castle PA on September 14, 1930 to the late Vernon T. and Alda Jane Fisher. He married the former Florence Louise Fisher who preceded him in death on September 25, 2008. Robert H. Symons, 71 of Lilac Hill Lane, Volant PA passed away at his residence the evening of August 10th 2016. Bob was born in New Castle on February 13, 1945 to the late Howard and Myrtle Minshull Symons. He married the former Lucinda “Cindy” McIver on May 31, 1969 who survives him at home. Hancox,  74, of the Evergreen Nursing Center, Harmony, formerly of New Castle, passed away peacefully on  Saturday morning, August 6 2016, in the care of  Amedisys Hospice at Evergreen Nursing Center. She was born in Brookville PA on October 9 1941, to the late  Quay and  Georgia  Conway  Wolfe. Joy graduated from  Brookville High School,  and the Shadyside Hospital School of Nursing, affiliated with the University of Pittsburgh. Harvey C. Wright II, 57, of Ellwood City, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on  Tuesday evening,  July 12, 2016 at his residence,  following a lengthy courageous battle with cancer.   Verna A. Stuart, 77, of New Castle, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Wednesday evening, July 6 2016 after a brief illness. She was preceded in death by her parents, and by her husband , Wes C. Stuart, who died 27 years ago. She is survived by one son and three daughters: Wes (and Pamela) Stuart, Jr. of West Pittsburg PA; and Lori (and Ken) Aller, of New Castle; and Stacy (and Daymon) Attisano, and Christine (and Michael) Collins, all of Portersville.
